MEMO TO U.S. DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE SEEKING AN INVESTIGATION


The National Conference of Black Lawyers (NCBL) Detroit Chapter is an organizational member of the Coalition for Police Transparency and Accountability (CPTA).


On Thursday, May 19, 2022, Malcolm X’s Birthday, CPTA held a Press Conference to announce the filing of its Memo to the Department of Justice (DOJ), seeking an investigation of the Detroit Police Department’s excessive force, killings, and racist discrimination.
